Now that's even truer if you're in a paintball battle with your relatives, which is where I found today's subject, Kortney. Kortney's mom invited me over to take some pictures of a birthday party at a nearby paintball park. I had never seen a game close up, but I must say it looked like a lot more fun that I had ever perceived it to be. I'm not sure which team won, but there were little green splats all over everybody, from head to toe, except Kortney who was untouched!

Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge

We had family in from out-of-state this past weekend, so we took a run through Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge in Smyrna. Unfortunately it was mid-day and I was afraid we wouldn't see much of anything. However, we stumbled across two adult foxes roaming and three baby cubs (or pups, or kits) near their hole. How cool!
