A New View of Old New Castle

"A Gaggle of Photographers"
1/250 sec at f/3.8 ISO 100

About 20 photographers turned out yesterday for our PhotoWalk of Historic New Castle. A gorgeous afternoon supplied the backdrop for a two-hour leisurely stroll through this 350-year old town.

Special thanks to the News Journals' Andrew Eder for writing up a nice story on us and Bob Herbert for capturing some of the excitement in photos. Pick up a copy of today's paper or read the News Journal article online here.

Using Flickr, we've created an online photo album and have asked the photographers to share their best shots from the walk. You may view all the participants photos here (check back often as the album will grow considerably in the next 72 hours).

PhotoWalks will take place on the second weekend of most months (weather permitting) at a different venue each month somewhere in the local vicinity on either a Saturday morning or a Sunday afternoon. Our next PhotoWalk will be to shoot bald eagles. Drop me an email to be included on our notification list.

On Saturday, November 14 I will be offering an all-day digital photography workshop in Bear, Delaware, geared toward amateur hobbyists and family picture takers. For more information on the workshop, email me for a descriptive flyer and registration form.
