... when a rocket launch stopped everyone in their tracks and garnered a world-wide audience. The event was, literally, mind-blowing that man could conquer space. And although strapping men and women in sideways chairs and lighting a huge fire underneath them has become somewhat routine these days, let us not forget what a simply incredible phenomenon has occurred right before our eyes in the last 50 years.
